Description

This is a photograph of St. Mary’s Falls which is the first waterfall you pass on the hike to Virginia Falls with several cascades shortly after. Most people only hike to St Mary’s Falls and then head beck and I understand why. Virginia is a much bigger and impressive water fall but there is something very peaceful about St. Mary’s falls and I think it may be a prettier waterfall even if it isn’t as big. The other reason is the next section of the hike is uphill and while the whole hike I would put on an easy hike list most people don’t want take that extra trek.
